Florida Drug Database Barely Used By Doctors
Over six people die each day in Florida from prescription drug overdoses. A new computer system, the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program, was created to assist doctors and other medical professionals in tracking patients’ prescriptions to help avoid drug abusers from being prescribed unneeded medications. Certificate of Commendation
