Hillsborough County Anti Drug Coalition is looking to fill the position of Community Coordinator. This position will be responsible for coordination of the Hillsborough Tobacco Free Partnership, a county-wide collaboration working to improve the health of Hillsborough County citizens by reducing negative effects of tobacco use. Strong computer skills, leadership skills, communication skills, project management skills and experience in community mobilization, community planning, and/or public health. The Community Coordinator will implement and administer tobacco prevention activities of Tobacco Free Partnership of Hillsborough County, Florida
The common goals of all activities will be:
- Reduce the prevalence of tobacco use among youth, adults, and pregnant women
- Reduce the number of users of tobacco products
- Reduce exposure to secondhand tobacco smoke
- Identify and reduce the disparities related to tobacco use and its effects among different population groups
- Promotes a tobacco-free lifestyle in the community
